Beth is a Natural History filmmaking and photography professional based in Bristol, U.K. with a passion for science communication. She is driven to create innovative, cinematic, and dynamic content that appeals to an ever-evolving audience. Beth has unique experience working on visual effects-based natural history productions, in a variety of roles including drone operating (FAA Part 107 with valid iVisa and CAA GVC), jib operating, research, VFX data wrangling, 3D environment capture, LiDAR scanning, and camera assisting, all gained from extensive time on shoots around the world and in studio settings.
Since moving to freelance work back in 2024, Beth has also taken on projects as a cinematographer in fitness, fine dining, weddings and corporate spaces which continue to be a valuable expansion of her repertoire in areas such as interviewing, social media, events and shoot direction.
In addition to Beth's filmmaking career, she also specialises in the use of drones for ecology, conservation and research. Her industry experience, coupled with an MSc in Conservation and Biodiversity from the University of Exeter's Centre for Ecology and Conservation, has enabled her to contribute to conservation charities and research groups globally, enhancing their important work.
